Mapping the Pelvic Floor

  • Webinar
  • Started Feb 19 at 12:30 PM NZDT

A live ( and recorded) workshop to help you feel in your body where your pelvic floor actually is and how it responds in day to day life and during exercise.

Many people experiencing pelvic floor symptoms are disconnected from this area of their body, often without realizing it.

When they’re asked to engage or relax their pelvic floor, there’s usually only a loose idea of what’s being asked.

Without a clear sense of sensation or feedback, the brain struggles to coordinate movement, and strengthening becomes much harder.

Mapping the pelvic floor is the first step.

This workshop is for you if:

  • You’ve tried strengthening your pelvic floor and still feel unsure what you’re actually doing

  • You want to feel where your pelvic floor lives in your body, not just guess

  • You’re ready for tools to help you connect to your pelvic floor, not just a checklist of cues

  • You want to understand sensation, pressure, breath, and connection before jumping into exercises

  • You know you have an overactive pelvic floor and therefore struggle to relax it

  • You experience leaking, heaviness, back pain, chronic constipation or painful intercourse

You don't need any prerequisites to join this class, you just need some curiosity and a bit of space to be present.

In this 90-minute live session we’ll explore:

  • how your brain and body can begin to recognize the pelvic floor

  • simple outer and inner ways to sense this area , with breath, touch, and movement

  • how feeling comes before strength

  • how to come home to your body in a way that feels safe and embodied

Why this matters

Too often we’re given cues without context:

“Squeeze.”
“Lift.”
“Engage.”

…and then left wondering if we’re doing it right.

You’ll walk away with

• Real, in-body experience of sensing your pelvic floor

• Practical movements to come back to time and time again

• An understanding of why Kegels aren't the whole picture and why doing them hasn't fixed your symptoms

• A sense of “ohhh, that’s it” rather than “am I doing this right?”

What’s included

  • 90 minutes of guided, live exploration and movement

  • A chance to ask questions and move with me in real time

  • Access to the recording so you can revisit the material at your own pace

I look forward to sharing this with you!
